Our Story
It all started in March 2021, right in the heart of our home. During the quiet, uncertain days of the pandemic, Jose who’s always had a love for making great food and drinks crafted a michelada mix for close family and friends. What began as a simple idea quickly turned into something much bigger. Everyone loved it… and they started coming back for more.
Our home has always been the go-to spot for gatherings whether it’s a small snack or a big cookout, there’s always food, laughter, and something refreshing to sip on. That same spirit is the foundation of Michelada’s El Mero Mero.
In August 2021, Jose took a leap and entered his first Michelada contest at the Tri-Cities Michelada Music Festival and brought home 1st place for Best Michelada. That win was just the beginning. Over the years, he’s continued to compete and take home top honors, including multiple 1st place and People’s Choice Awards, solidifying his unique recipe as a crowd favorite.
As word spread and support grew, so did his passion. What started at home has grown into something we never imagined - pop-up events, loyal customers, and our products now stocked in local convenience and grocery stores.

Now, with the continued support of our community, we’re proud to take the next step: launching our official website. This new platform allows us to reach even more people, share our story, and make it easier for customers near and far to enjoy our products.
None of this would be possible without the help of our incredible family and close friends, who have been there since day one taste-testing, helping with production, and showing up to support & help at every event.
